How do magic links work?

From the grown-up sign-in tab, ask for a one-time link. It signs you in and marks the email verified.

Request the link

On login, choose Email me a sign-in link, enter the account email, and send. The link lasts twenty minutes and works once. If no mail provider is configured, the page shows the local link so you can finish the flow.

What it does not do

Magic links do not create new accounts and do not sign in a child PIN profile. Unknown emails still receive a generic “sent” response so the form cannot be used to hunt for addresses.

After you click

Parents land on the dashboard, educators on Classrooms, independent learners on the workspace. The same click verifies the email.

How do I reset a password?
Use Forgot password on the grown-up login tab. The reset link expires in an hour and signs out every other session.
How do I verify my email?
New parent and educator accounts get a verification link. The parent dashboard shows a banner until it is confirmed.
Can an older learner have their own account?
Yes. People 16+ can create an independent account. Age 16–18 lands in Navigator; 18+ lands in Pioneer.
