What is a learning objective?

“What is AI?” is a pillar. “Explain prediction versus retrieval in your own words” is an objective. Each one names a Bloom level (Remember through Create), the earlier objectives it needs, and the best modality — conversation, cards, Prompt Lab, project, challenge, or interview.

The curriculum map lists every objective on the current path. Chat, Quiz Me, projects, and exams attach the active objective to the session so practice counts as evidence instead of leftover chat.

Without objectives, an AI tutor is a chatbot with a mascot. With them, a parent or teacher can say what was introduced, practiced, and mastered — and what to ask about at dinner or in class.
