How are projects evaluated?

Project templates include deliverables and a rubric for quality, evidence, safety, and learner agency.

Start from a template

Project Lab offers scaffolds such as a prompt playbook or a “when not to trust AI” brief. Each template lists deliverables you can check off and a rubric the Guide will not invent after the fact.

What the rubric looks for

Quality of the artifact, evidence that you tested the idea, safety and attribution, and whether you stayed in charge of the tool. Completing a project awards WonderStars and can move the attached objective to practiced or mastered.

Classroom use

A teacher can point an assignment at an objective. Learners still submit the work inside Project Lab or Prompt Lab; the classroom roster then shows mastery counts rather than a pile of chat logs.

How do I use Prompt Lab?
Write a prompt, run it, change one thing, and compare versions. The lab scores whether you included context, constraints, and an example.
How do classroom assignments work?
A teacher publishes a title, instructions, and optional objective. Learners see it on their Classroom page and do the work in the matching tool.
How does mastery work?
Objectives move from introduced to practiced to mastered. Mastery needs practice plus completed prerequisites.
